Affectionately known as Bruce, BR00C3 is a shockingly shark-like chandelier born from a generous donation of Christmas icicle lights and dismantled gazebo parts. What began as a collection of unexpected materials evolved into an illuminated assemblage with multiple personalities, transforming dramatically depending on the lighting environment.

In daylight, Bruce reveals himself as a formidable hammerhead shark suspended overhead. Under blacklight, he shifts into a glowing, mischievous Gotham-inspired villain with an entirely different presence. When both traditional lighting and blacklight are combined, a third hybrid character emerges, creating yet another interpretation of the work.

Featuring numerous blacklight-reactive elements, BR00C3 brings playful menace, wonder, and theatrical energy into the surrounding space. Inspired by the magical, woodsy atmosphere of the artist's Brentwood home—with stained glass trees and other enchanted creatures throughout—the chandelier becomes more than a light source; it becomes a living part of the environment.

Through this piece, the artist continued exploring the relationship between sculpture, illumination, and atmosphere, demonstrating how different forms of light can completely transform the mood, personality, and emotional experience of a single artwork.
